Darjeeling Tour
Darjeeling is a town in India’s West Bengal state, in the Himalayan foothills. Once a summer resort for the British Raj elite, it remains the terminus of the narrow-gauge Darjeeling Himalayan Railway, or “Toy Train,” completed in 1881. It’s famed for the distinctive black tea grown on plantations that dot its surrounding slopes. Its backdrop is Mt. Kanchenjunga, among the world’s highest peaks
Itinerary
Meet and Greet on arrival at NJP/IXB/Siliguri Bus Stop for your Darjeeling Package Tour and transfer to Darjeeling (via Hill Cart Road), one of the most magnificent hill resorts in the world. Evening free to explore this hill queen. Visit Darjeeling Mall, have some hot coffee and enjoy the chill weather. Overnight stay at Hotel in Darjeeling.
After breakfast embark on a sightseeing tour of Darjeeling covering - Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park (closed on Thursday), Tenzing Rock, Tibetan Refugee self help Centre (closed on Sunday), Tea Garden (outer view), and Japanese Peace Pagoda. Return to hotel. Post Lunch continue sightseeing tour to Rock Garden & Ganga Maya Park. Evening free at own. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Early Morning (at 04:00 am) visit to Tiger hill to watch the spectacular sunrise over Mt. Khangchendzonga (28,208 ft. Worlds third highest peak), on your way back we see Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After breakfast embark on an excursion trip to Mirik Lake (5800 ft) via Pashupati Phatak (Nepal Border and back. Overnight in Darjeeling.
Post breakfast take the departure transfer to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey.

The Trip Cost Excludes

- Permit Charges for Nathula Pass extra @ Rs.7000 (Approx) per vehicle for max 6 guests and confirmation of permit is subject to approval from government authorities.
